I was chosen from my group to go up in front of the rest of the class and show my PowerPoint-presentation. It made me really nervous and I felt my mind go blank and I did not know what to say. The game is in it’s last phase.Everyone in the group is leaving for GAMEX, except me, and i actually saw this as a bad thing. During the play-testing session last Thursday only one group had time to test our game, the reason for that is because it takes longer time to play it with un-experienced players, as it always does. Usually it takes about 45min when we are play-testing in our group but this time took about 1h 30min and the game-testing session was only two hours. Group work – update 2
Been working on the paper prototype with one of my group mates.
We seem to have gotten the core experience down on it. Now we need to test the prototype to make it stronger.
Hopefully we can do enough of that tomorrow and move on to finish up our pitch for a feedback meeting on Friday this week.

So I’ve not been updating this since I’ve been busy with various things and last week I was sick to boot. Seems like the game project isn’t going very well, I was supposed to get feedback for our prototype today but I was not given a finished prototype to bring to the meeting, instead I had to make one on my own over a few hours, that didn’t work.

Today, we had our teacher for the course (Adam Mayes) play our game and give feedback on it in it’s current state.
Initially, he was skeptical to as of how the monster’s hidden movement was going to work in practice. However, after playing the game, he liked the game as it was. Last day we had yet another balancing session, we were about half the group since the other half had other classes to attend. The goal of yesterdays sesion was to make the Wizard even stronger in the begining of the game and also try a new trap mechanic.

Today is the release of our game CoBots!!
We made this game last spring as a school project and since it got such great feedback, we decided to release it. We’ve been polishing the game this autumn and now it’s finally available at Desura and on our site!
This is the first game I’ve ever released and none of the graphic students in my group had worked with 3D before, so I’m very proud of us for making it this far. OwO
