Maya mirror tutorial
Today I started modeling a head for a character im making in Maya. I’m gonna use the character to train and learn bone rigging so I then can make it move. What I have found usefull before is using a mirror duplication so I only have to edit one side of the object and it will look the same on the other. To do this in maya was a little different.

Analysing Board Games During Nightmare Week.
So this week has been tough, mainly because of the three analyses of board games that was due for today in my Advanced Game Design class, but also because Serious Games, the other class I’m reading is unexpectedly ramping up with assignments.
On top of this I got to know earlier this week that Almedalsbiblioteket wanted to exhibit our game Alienation through an arcade machine they are putting up. The installation will be this Saturday, tomorrow at 18:00. This is great […]

Board Game Analysis
I recently finished a assignment in which we had to work in groups and play three different board games that we then had to analyse and write a report on. We were doing this to better understand how systems work as well as training how to better analyze board games.
I really liked this assignment. Not only because we got to play board games as well as a role playing game but that it gave me the opportunity to train on […]

I am aspiring to be a concept or 3D artist for games and that is my current goal in life. There are tons of reasons why I have chosen this path but mostly it’s because it’s really fun and enjoyable.
This blog will be gradually be filled with my concept art […]

Spaaaaaaaaaaaaace (shooters)
Since our assignment Mayes gave us for this week was to play Space Shooters I decided to look up some retro shooters. I have been playing a whole bunch of games like Asteroids, Captain Skyhawk, Dragon Spirit and Captain Planet and the Planeteers. I must say that I really liked the 2.5D isometric graphic style of Captain Skyhawk. Captain Planet and the Planeteers had a nice mechanic which let you turn around and fly back a short distance for taking out enemies you have missed.
This have given […]
