Another Luger Update

Our new design and 3D courses have started now, which meant that I couldn’t spend too much time on my mad mod plan. I have also joined forces with Oscar Mohlin and entered a contest organized by Polycount.com and Allegorithmic where artist are tasked with creating a “Throne Room” and a matching throne using PBR and Substance Designer and Painter. Another Luger Update

Game Development, Meeting 1 and 2.

During week 3 of January, we started a new course titled “Introduction to Game Development.” During the 11 weeks of this course, we were told we would be re-creating another teams game that they designed during the course “Introduction to Game Analysis and Game Design.” We were to remain in our teams, choose another teams game, and set to work developing it using Scrum, an agile workflow to help us along.

Game Development, Meeting 1 and 2.

2D-Graphics, Theory and Application I – Final Assignment

Our final assignment for this course was to render this picture of this city:

And to make a solid construction out of this sketch:

With the city it kind of worked pretty much like the values-assignment – laying out the flats based on atmosphere and light, in this case, early morning light:

Then putting in the basic light based on the direction of the surfaces:

Then shadows, shadows falling of buildings and some more detail:
