BGP – Day 18
A day of unclean… animation A day of unclean… animation
So today I got all the animations into the animation program and dusted them of just enough so that they can be imported to the engine as soon as possible. Also a lot of my time was spent on trying to connect my computer to our server/unreal project. Which is where our whole project will be accessed and worked through. Above you can see the character come alive. That was all, take care!

Logo and handmade textures
The last few days I’ve been working on texturing a well and learning more about unity what you need to do with materials to make your handpainted textures show in unity in the same way they look like in substance painter. Subtle glow
On my last post I mentioned working on the animations, that didn’t happen since the character had to be re-skinned. Therefore I cleaned up the material for the hand a little more, where I added some variation to the emissive, now it increase and decrease over time. Here is what it looks like now.

The cleaning involves watching the different tracking markers and see if any of them disappear. This can happen if they are getting occluded by a body part or if they are confused as being another marker. This is fixed by either re-labeling them to their actual […]

Part 1: I’m not a character artist
I have always found people annoying as they enter the stage saying ”I am not a speaker but…”. Of course you are a speaker, you are doing it right now in front of a crowd.
