Three themes, three crates (3d lesson 2)

Cartoon Chest
Cartoon styled games are usually directed to children and teenagers. The style usually has very simplified shapes and objects with happy colour schemes and often falls into the visual style Simplified Realistic and Stylized Abstract.  Objects in cartoony games are usually bigger than in real life and there is often a very prominent theme for what shapes and colours objects have.

3D2 week two: crates

This week were supposed to create three crates with different themes. The themes we got to choose from were Sci-fi, Urban contemporary, Post-apocalyptic, Medieval and Cartoony.
I choose Medieval, Sci-fi and post-apocalyptic.
 
Theme A (Medieval)
When I look for references pictures for medieval I mostly look for religious pictures and objects. So for this assignment I mostly looked at Christian chests and other objects.
When looking at crates, trunks and boxes you will see alot of wood mixed with iron and other minerals. You […]

Started reading the book Game programming in…

Started reading the book: ”Game programming in C++: Start to finish written by Erik Yuzwa. Only read about 40 pages so far, but it’s really a book I would recommend since it has already caught my attention, in a good way.
