Big Game Project – Week 6
Week 20
I started this week with Redesigning our card frames in order for them to fit the theme of our game better. The new frames have more angular elements that will tie in better with our logo and our GUI design. We tried to give all the different types of cards their own color in order to create a more visually diverse and clear representation for them. But we quickly noticed that having to many different colors made the game […]

GGC – Big Game Project
This week a rushed to get a stable version of the digital game, which we showed during Gotland Game Conference (GGC). Even though I did as much as I could without crashing, the build still had some bugs during GGC which I had to fix each day after GGC. One of the changes we did the day before GGC was that instead of having a server computer, the server computer could act as a player. That way we didn’t extra […]

Gotland Game Conference 2014 – Day Three
Well, this one is kinda late. I guess it’s a good thing I’m still the same old me despite all of my experience (or maybe not). So… the GGC awards ceremony was the other day and it was rather dramatic. We didn’t win, but we weren’t expecting it either so that’s about it I guess. I was at least hoping that we would be nominated but I’d still be happy with not being that either.
I wasn’t expecting them to forget […]
