Hi blog! Long time no see!
So last week it was time to pitch for all people who did not already have green lit groups. I pitched a little game called Sneaky Ninja, a mobile based stealth-puzzle game. I can’t believe Week 2 is over! It really feels like time is rushing by. Although I’ve been working a lot this week, I kinda feel like I haven’t accomplished as much as I wanted. :/ Anyway…
I blocked in some basic colors on the player model, to get a feel for how the character is going to look when it’s done. I’m not going to produce the final texture just yet though, that’s scheduled for like Week 5.

I can’t believe Week 2 is over! It really feels like time is rushing by. Although I’ve been working a lot this week, I kinda feel like I haven’t accomplished as much as I wanted. :/ Anyway…

This blog is a part of the Big Game Project, a course available at Uppsala University – Campus Gotland. The course is ten weeks long and ties in with the GGC (Gotland Game Conference) which is sometime in June. The course could be seen as a examination for all that we are “supposed” to have learned. During these ten weeks each group are going to produce a game from a pre-designed concept. These concepts are created by individual students, before […]

Network is both fun and frustrating. This week I continued working with the networking code, the problem however is that it is going slow. You need go about coding in a bit different way than you do when you code otherwise. Because when you code for singleplayer you don’t have to take into consideration what happens to the object when other people see it. In a network however you need to send the location of your player to the others, […]

Stationary and Fusion

So the first Sprint is over and I’ve almost finished all my tasks this week. I had decided to make the Controller, Thrower, a fusion version of these two and also the Stationary robot. As you can see in my priviously post, I finished the Controller and the Thrower quite quickly and I thought that it would go even quicker to finish the fusion version, since I only had to build it from the two earlier meshes.
