11 weeks later! [Comic]

Hi!
Everyone keeps saying the students should be posting blogs left and right. I have not posted anything in elven weeks. So that’s cool! Here’s why:

With that said, I will try to get over the pressure and post some magical stuff anyway. Artwork, game design junk, and probably a few more comics.

Totemic at DreamHack Winter

This week the 2D graphics design course began. It started off with some life drawing where we practiced sketching up the dynamic of a pose. We also got into how to how proportions on human looked and how to draw a body and head. We also got an assignment to sketch 20 thumbnails of a character and reflect on our drawings over the past week. New Course – 2D Game Graphics!

Good news! I made it through Game Analysis & Game Design and leveled up to 2D Game Graphics – a 10 week course to learn how to draw art for video games. 🙂 I am really looking forward to all the lectures.

Dragon’s Song was our last assignment for the course Game Analysis & Game Design. This is how the concept art turned out. I am happy to tell that after the 5 weeks the game concept for our music game Dragon´s Song was a success! 🙂

3D character model FINAL

So here is the final model with its texture set I created for the assignment 3 of my 3D computer graphics course. The diffuse map is all hand painted by myself except for a wool texture that can be slightly seen on the scarf.  If you want to know more of the modeling process and other information about this character I suggest you check out my previous blog posts;
