YOU WON!
Postmortem. We have reached the very end of this journey. We all leave the last playtest, and the ever blowing wind carries a few snowflakes through the last rays of sunshine. The playtest has been tiring, yet it gave us much laughter and much confusion.

The effects of playtesting – 5SD064 HANNA AHO LIND
Hello once again dear classmates.
Another week has passed and we all look forward to leaving this course behind. But if there is something especially fun to rememeber from this course it is the two playtesting sessions we have had.
During the playtests we got to play the others games, but also get valuable feedback from both teachers and other students.
After playing our game they were asked to fill out a survey, with prepared questions which we wanted answers of. But we […]

YOU DIED- 5SD064 HANNA AHO LIND
This sprint I was tasked with making a “death” or “losing” sprite of our submarine, for when it has been hunted down by the giant fish. I decided to go for three different aproaches but with the same teqnicues. I choosed the same brushes and decided to go with a theme of red- to symbolise and communicate danger.
It boiled down to these three concepts, one where I black out all the colour of the submarine and replace the blue light, […]

Hello again, fellow classmates and teachers. Like everyone else this week I´m writing about scrum and how it has affected my developement.

5SD064 Hanna Aho Lind – The progress of making a underwater mine and it´s explosion!
Some weeks ago I was tasked with making an object to interact with, which we decided would be an exploding underwater mine.
Since our game neither have a comic style or a realistic style I had to rely on our brushes in photoshop to help me find the middle ground when designing the mine. 5SD064 Hanna Aho Lind- Sprite sheet of vampire squid
What have I made this day for our game Depth? The answer is; a sprite sheet for one of our enemies, more specifically the vampire squid. This sprite sheet will when implemented in Unity become an animation showing the moving pattern of the squid.
