Last week before GGC
This is it, today we’re doing our final build for Gotland Game Conference! The past week has been very intense with hard work and long hours, but we’ve been able to finish up a lot of things. Apart from a few tweaks here and there, the graphical assets are almost completely done. That has also meant that we’ve been able to iterate on a few things that didn’t quite meet our standards, and some things that needed new textures. It’s […]

Leaving hands behind, starting making props.
With the hands finished I started helping out making props. You can really feel the end of the project coming fast, everybody is working hard to finish things and to make the game be as good as possible. We are trying to produce as many props as we can to decorate the levels with.
I’ve made a number of props this week, to mention a few: a lamp post, a shrine, a lock for a door, crystals.

Leaving hands behind, starting making props.
With the hands finished I started helping out making props. You can really feel the end of the project coming fast, everybody is working hard to finish things and to make the game be as good as possible. We are trying to produce as many props as we can to decorate the levels with.
I’ve made a number of props this week, to mention a few: a lamp post, a shrine, a lock for a door, crystals.

Last week I focused on completing assets, making sure they had the right material, normal maps etc. After that I was tasked.. since I’m the only girl.. to make the flowers (that was a joke, or at least I hope so). Well I don’t know a thing about flowers so I did some research and made three alpha flowers in Photoshop using texture brushes and fx’s as stroke and shadow.
