With all of her children scattered around the train, she quickly has to start trying to find them. On the way, everything from predatory birds to dangers in her environment will try to make life harder for her.

My name is Martin Månsson. I am the sound director of Group 7. As the title describe I’m in charge of the sound for the game ”Potato Pirates”. But sound isn’t anything that we prioritize right now. I have therefore been helping out with the artistic part of the game such as making game sprites which is way more important for the moment. Over the last couple of weeks I have been working on the Power Ups for our game Trowl. I have been working with pixel art because it is stylish, it serves as a way for all the artists to have a consistent tone and it makes iteration a sport. The power ups are powerful buffs or one time instantaneous uses which allows the player to beat his or her highscore in the game. They are a lot of fun as […]

I dagsläget är vi inne i en så kallad ”Pre-Alpha” fas där vi jobbar med att få ett funktionellt spel klart till alphan 19/2.
Under denna vecka har jag arbetat allra främst med en effekt till en av våra power-ups kallad ”Slow TIme”. Denna power up gör att tiden går långsammare. Med andra ord, fiender rör sig långsammare, alla turrets skjuter långsammare och skotten rör sig långsammare. Vi behövde en cool effekt för att visa när denna power up är […]
