Hello! (Sry for late feedback! I Could not find the URL to the third feedback I did and decided to do it all over again on your post.)
It was interesting and good for me to see how other people worked with the same systems as we did but with a little twist since we have different Project Managers.
You described in detail what you did and how you and your group worked with scrum. It was […]

You explained in a good way what you had done working with the design of the mine for your game. I liked to see all the pictures and see and actual development of it. It was easy to follow because of the flow of the text and the pictures as i said made it even clearer. What you could think of for the future is to write it in a little more professional way since it’s […]

Your sentences had a great flow and it was easy to follow what you have done and learn throughout these weeks. I’m glad that you were happy with the end result even though you did not have enough time to implement everything.
You got everything in there that you were suppose to cover. It was interesting to hear how you solved things as a group and that you learn that being clear to each other and do things time […]

Hi Hampus!
Your post was written in a professional way and you got all the information you wanted out there i seems like. It was easy to follow the text and I got a good understanding of what happen and helped you out during both of the test.
As mentioned in the comment above I also think that writing about the alpha and beta test separately would have made it a little more clear. But it’s did not really matter […]

Hi Gunnlaugur!
Even though the post looked like a wall of text in the beginning you manage to get my attention very early in you text. You started of with explaining why you needed this animation for the game then explained in detail all of you thoughts and problems you had while working with it and did it in a way that was easy to follow and understand. You then explained how you solved the mist problem with pictures […]

You explain everything in much detail which is a very good thing for the one who reads. Since it is so detailed it makes it very clear how the work you have done this week have been done (It was also very interesting and funny to hear about the sounds and how you made them). It was good that you mentioned the difficulties you had too since that is a part of doing something that you have never […]

6. FEAR IS IN ME
We have now worked with the game Fear is in me for almost two months now and much have happened during the development of it. We have both had up and down during our work but what’s great about both is that we always had something to learn from it. Weather it was how not to do or how to do it helped us improve as designers together in one way or another.
The scrum method was new for all of […]

5. How did playtesting help us in our development of our game?
Since the start of our project we have had two playtesting sessions with the rest of the Game design students where we tried out each others games and give each other helpful information. We met in a big classroom and set our game and a form with questions up before we started to mingle around trying out other groups work.
Both of the sessions could have been helpful for our project but sadly we had to drop of the the […]

4. More sounds
This week I worked with some sounds for our game. In the beginning of this week I borrowed a disk from Finn with a lot of non-copyright sounds on it. It have helped me very much since there are sounds that i can’t produce myself and the internet could not provide me with good quality sounds like this. I worked specifically with the sounds for one of our enemies together with the sounds for the playable character.
The sounds I needed […]

3. Scrum
What?
We have used scrum, a method used for development of a product, for some weeks now and are getting more and more used to it every week. It have been very useful for planning weeks ahead and for giving us an understanding what needs to be done for making the game. It also give us an understanding on what we should prioritise next in the process as well as what the other in the team are doing.
How?
The first week of […]

2. A totally new sound experience
I had more focus on the sounds for the game this week since I am the one responsible for it. I had no experience on that whatsoever so the main focus have been to learn the basics of Audacity and LMMS. The goal was to get some kind of background sound and sounds for the main character of our game. Some sounds will be recorded be me and others will be someone elses creation. The already recorded sound I found […]

1. Power Up the week!
What?
This week i worked much with the art for the Power Up’s for our game. In particular two different kinds of flashlights, a battery and fireflies.
The dual flashlight are suppose to give the character a wider range in the game and the search light a longer range on the flashlight the she uses to kill the enemies with while the battery simply is there to give more power the the flashlights. The fireflies will simply follow the character and […]
