ARTEFACT 1 – PARALLAX ENVIRONMENTin BAT the Game
Four weeks has passed since my team 12 and I started the Space Shooter Project “Heartbeat Bat”. The original concept was designed by Team 7.
For this project I was assigned the role as Lead Artist. My responsibility lies in creating the visual appearance in our game. However since we are only two artists in our team we decided to devide the working tasks. I got the environmental tasks and […]

First Week of Concept Art!

Wooha! It has been a long week but I made it through. It won’t be easy to study 200% during the Space Shooter Project, but I won’t give up so easily. Concept seems to contain everything I could have possibly wished for while signing up to that course. I have already met new friendly people, very talented both in traditional and digital illustrations.
This week we learned that the intentions in a drawing is what drives the Concept Artist to continue. […]

Holiday Drawings and back on the Isle!

I had this drawing spree during my winter vacation. Animals, environtment and first try with anime fanart after watching the fantastic series SAO – Sword Art Online.Experimenting with different colors is what I enjoy the most at this moment. I also tried out a new technique using only the lasso tool while creating the mountains on the Mountain climber painting. The process turned out to be much faster and more efficient than having to draw them by hand like I […]

X-Mas Time? Art Time!

Christmas Break, and so much to do, even on Christmas Eve! Love it. To be this occupied with something I am especially passionate about is a great feeling. Drawing has always been a part of my life as you already know but never have I been this active in digital drawing before. To be “forced” to draw on order (for assignments in school) was a fact I was abit scared I would not be able to keep.
Most of these half […]
