Lost & Found – A Knytt Story
I made this a while ago for a level design course. We had an assignment where we were tasked with creating a narrative through game environment only, no written words allowed. I made a story about getting lost, loosely based on my own experiences as a curious and absentminded child.

Week 16 I started doing the final design work on our card frames. I created one frame for each of our three different card types that each where slightly different in order to best suit the card’s needs. The card frames where given to the team in Photoshop files with text layers that could be edited and a transparent section in the middle for the illustration.

Homepage and Progress (Week 4)
This week I spent some time everywhere as usual 😛
However, my focus has been on the homepage that we started and getting it up and running without trouble and with a good visual. I am not used to making pages so it will continue to take time for me to get it in proper shape. This is a banner that I created by combining and tweaking some art from Mariam.

This week, I have spent some time cleaning up a lot of code to make it more readable for others and fixing a lot of bugs. In our card game there are three main piles where cards go trough each turn. The main deck, the hand and the discard pile. This week I have been working mostly on finishing smaller programming tasks in order to get our first alpha build of the game up and running. I also created the base for our item selection system, where the player can select up to three items to take with him/her into the level.

Deer, oh Deer
After last two weeks being filled with predators (or more exactly one omnivore and one predator), this week took a new angle and focused on a herbivore.
The deer is based on a roe deer and is going to act as a food source for our bear. It is planned to roam around the forest for the player to see, but not catch, but also in a dead state, caught and killed by wolves but for the player to fight for.
