took me about an hour to create. went to the extra drawing group and tried to work some more on anatomy. ( I see now the arms are rubbish)
with the coloring i went with something in a dark or blood magic way.

Game Design: BFH continued and Random

Battle for Hildegaard.
Crazy card game it was, have tried out two basic decks of the 25 cards me and a friend composed the other night. It was pretty slow and sluggish due to to much damage mitigation on units. Problem will be solved and the game pace will hopefully be higher next time.

First step in digital drawing!

Last weeks assignment was about drawing 20 diffrent thumbnails to a allready decided concept. Either the concept “Bella and her umbrella” (the characters had to be a princess with an umbrella) or “Clash of heavens” (the characters had to be able to look like they can fight gods in another reality). Things are moving forward. I’m steadily learning and adapting to the constant streams of information thrown at me. As earlier stated, I felt a bit left behind in the wake of the veterans, but the instructors (or teachers I suppose) has been more than helpful, even if the pace is still a bit hectic.

Let the programming commence!

Started the programming course this Monday. We started with some basic loops and initiations and lastly we made a guessing game where the user guessed a number (1-100) and the game would give you feedback on how close you were to the the correct number. 
I have to say, I wished we would’ve started the course earlier, this is probably the most intellectual fun I’ve had in months!

Basics, a dungeon crawler and concrete examples

The programming course has started and I’m super exited for that! The first week has passed and the tempo seems fine. The course is teaching really basic things right now, but I learn stuff anyway. Finally the fun has begun. This week the first 2D graphical course started, I’m really excited what I will learn from this course.

First Week of the Drawing Course

This first week has been fully focused on seeing and drawing gestures. It has been quite challenging, one keeps going back to “copying” the model continuously. I decided to do the Princess Bella and Her Umbrella concept, as I wanted to try and make different versions of the same character. They became very different. The one I am the most happy with is the Asian styled princess with the green dress. I wanted to make someone kind and quirky that did not fit in the usual princess-frame.
