Brainstorming about Understanding board games project
Today my group and i brainstormed about the upcoming group project where we are to create a boardgame from scratch.
First of we threw out random aesthetic words just to get started, we ended up with words like feeling accomplished, lonlyness, fear, despiration, paranioa.

These past weeks I have worked with boardgames with my group, We were assigned to play three boardgames at least three times each. So we could get a clear view of the strength and weaknesses in the games. Through that we were also supposed to decide what the core system was and what the best system was and etc…
We played these games with ease and could easily decide what the answer to the questions were and work from there.

Post Mortem – Core Mechanics and Team 8
During the first weeks of our studies, we we’re put into several groups of about seven people. These groups/teams were supposed to work together on, as far as I understood, all group assignments and projects over the first year. I was part of Group 6, which according to me really was a dream team. Postmortem on the Reverse Prototyping Workshop
Yesterday, on October 7th, we had a quick lecture on reverse prototyping. After that we got about two hours to analyse any digital game, take out the core mechanics from it, to make a paper prototype using those mechanics. It wassent the easiest words to work with but we landed on a game were you are gonna make a suit by making the individual parts, by flying with a machine that sew it all togheter. While you do it, moths and other things will try to eat the cloth. So you will have kill them by shooting them.

Got some work done!
I was working on a sword for a while in 3DSMax that did no quite work out and because of that, I had to start over.
A few days have passed and I’ve actually managed to create a new sword from scratch and I’m quite happy with the result so far.
All that needs to be done now is to properly texture it. (I think)
