CoBots Launch Trailer
Today is the release of our game CoBots!!
We made this game last spring as a school project and since it got such great feedback, we decided to release it. We’ve been polishing the game this autumn and now it’s finally available at Desura and on our site!
This is the first game I’ve ever released and none of the graphic students in my group had worked with 3D before, so I’m very proud of us for making it this far. OwO

We had some rethinking to do as our of how our game was it didn’t look good. So our task was to improve the game, and we did so quite drastically.

We began this week by going over the feedback that we’d received from the two groups from last week. The feedback showed us that the movement system we had worked and was enjoyable to an extent. This week started out with three days of being home and sick. After getting on my feet again but not able to get down to school I did what I could: concept art. This week we had a meeting with Marcus, where we got some more feedback.
The feedback we got:
Add another mechanic to make the game more dynamic.
Make obstacles larger than one tile. As they didn’t hinder the play because they could move diagonally.
He also gave us the idea that board could be flooded by water to stress the players more, as they had to hurry before the board was completely flooded.
